David Flores and Juan Carlos Reyes:
Colectivo REZIZTE is a multi-disciplinary artist collective in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. REZIZTE shows the true image, true of a city like Juarez under attack from several sides. The collective creates graffiti/ street/ urban/ mural art interventions that help to fight to empower the people.
REZIZTE’s current project PURO BORDE! Consists of an artist-network (including Colectivo Madroño) that showcases artists and collaborators from the border towns in the metroplex area of El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Their work based on public art combining different genres and media. This network portrays another face to the border region, a face that is more real, a face that Is expressed through the visual elements in their works.
